In addition, MEA values the use of skills, knowledge and expertise in the electrical system of the organization to help support and develop communities in distribution areas in order to provide a better quality of people’s lives.
The Safe & Save Community project is one of the MEA's social projects that aim to reduce negative impacts and create positive impacts on communities under the responsibility of MEA and leverage to become a sustainably managed community.
Pattana Bon Kai community is one of MEA's key communities. Due to its location on the underground tunnel construction route, MEA needs to take care of the potential impacts of its operations and support the quality of people’s lives in the community. The overview of the operations can be summarized as follows:
    1. Improve and increase the number of public lights in the community area to ensure the safety of life and property of the people in the community.
    2. Educate about the efficient and safe use of electricity, including first aid skills for all community residents to raise awareness and be able to act properly in emergencies.
    3. Promote good quality of life for the community by introducing innovative solar-powered drip irrigation and soil moisture sensor installed in the community's central vegetable plot to reduce the number of resources, reduce expenses and increase the community's income.
